Earth Day is an annual event celebrated on April 22, when events are held worldwide to demonstrate support for environmental protection. It was first celebrated in 1970.  Over the past 44 years, it has helped raise awareness about numerous environmental issues.  This FREE program will focus on changes in environmental protection from the first Earth Day in 1970 to present and a discussion about several environmentally significant sites. The program will end with a discussion about whether Earth Day still matters.

Lunch and time for networking will begin at 11:00 a.m.; the program will start at 12:00 noon.

This CLE opportunity is free of charge for MCBA members.  Parking is on your own; use of the Light Rail is suggested.
